For auction is a 1965 volkswagen beetle. The engine has been rebuilt by SR racing of lexington, it is a zero miles 1600cc dual port, pict34 carb, w10 cam (mild cam), dynoed at 72 horse and 81 ft/lbs. everything inside the engine is brand new except the rods and crank, which were refurbed and the whole rotating assembley: pressureplate to pully was balanced. heads and intake were port matched. case savers installed. engine is nice. new fuel tank and lines. floors were replaced, rockers fixed, etc. there is no rust on the pan of this car. New low profile tires, comes with 2.5inch lowering spindles and beam adjuster (still needs to be installed). has vintage paddy hopkirk seats in it, these are vintage british pieces and extra comfortable. no back seat, the plan was shelving and storage. dual resivour brakes(upgrade) they still need bleed. trans shifts fine. the whole pan of the car was coated with POR-15. The back skirt is removable, so you do not need to jack the car up to remove the engine, it comes out in 10 minuits and a skateboard. it has polyurethane trans and engine mounts. This car was going to go through a rat bug theme, where I left the body dinged up with fake patina on it. I just have too mank projects and need to clear some space. The car also comes with 3 rubbermaid containers of parts, I have 2 extra starters,extra set of cases, generator, distributor, tons of points and condensers, cables, one or two extra clutches. Extra fuel pump(new), brake shoes and more there is too much to list. comes with new running boards. there is enough extra stuff to never have to go to the parts store for a while. this car is about 2 good weekends from being a real nice set up car. the car is also for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction at any time. check out the listing.
