Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon. Collector's Edition just like every other '96 Roadmaster. Lifelong San Antonio area car - NO rust and a beautiful underside as seen in pics. Loaded up with leather and power everything. Rare option combo - one of only 8 medium adriatic blue wagons built with heated blue leather seats and heavy duty cooling (one of only 4 that came with a full size spare if you want to drill it down even more.) Powered by GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, there's plenty of power. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Recently rebuilt, so it performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts perfectly. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight and solid. NO BODY RUST. There's a tiny ding in the middle of the hood I tried to photograph, but no other notable issues beyond a couple stray door dings. Above average. Paint: Paint is super nice and shiny. No notable issues. Way above average for age. Wood: Upper fake wood trim was all removed from the car, sanded, painted and re-installed, so it's not peeling like most do at this age. Wood applique siding is nice and shiny with a few small nicks touched up as pictured. Other: Lower stainless bright trim has only a couple very minor dings. Front bumper stainless trim has one small ding on the driver's side. No cracks or tears in the plastic bumpers. Rubber side trim is present. Glass is all nice with no rock chips. Beautiful undercarriage and frame with no rust, no rust in door jambs or tailgate sill, either, as seen in pics - even the factory waxy coating is still present on the frame - exceptionally nice undercarriage. Aluminum wheels are in great shape with all center caps present and in nice shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape and better than most at this age and mileage. Carpets are nice and clean, dash has no cracks, door panels are in great shape. Headliner is in nice shape with no tears or sagging. Leather seats are very nice with only minimal wear on the driver's seat. Steering wheel is nice. Non-smoker's car - no smoke odors. Very nice interior overall; way better than average. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, button horn, wipers, etc.) ALL the power stuff works properly including power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm cassette, power antenna, rear window release, rear wiper, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster all work properly. DRIVEABILITY: Drives great - tight and quiet and strong. Steering is tight, suspension tight, and tracks straight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires are a matched set with about 50% tread remaining - whitewalls are turned inside, so just flip them around if you prefer whitewalls. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Rear end is quiet. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No issues - hop in and drive anywhere.
