Packard Clipper project. First I'll start with the GOOD, All body work done, no rust, good floors, all exterior stainless polished, engine rebuilt, new radiator, painted inside and out (including floor and trunk), Chrome redone except for bumpers, spare engine parts, extra set of trim, extra window parts, almost everything I could strip off a spare car. At least $5000.00 invested. I bought a complete extra car to have enough parts for the future needs. The BAD: No transmission, I was going to use a Chrysler Torqueflite, with conversion kit. Needs tires, Needs a repaint, the idiot that I had paint the car decided to clearcoat the color, because he thought it would look better. He waited too long to apply the clear and it started to peel about 6 months later. Since the body is very straight, sanding and respray is all it needs (good job for Maaco) Needs upholstery Great oportunity to own a true classic road car. Car is not licensed, but has cleared lien sale papers and only needs transfer and registration fees, comes with bill of sale.
