Powered by the legendary 1.9L TDI Turbo Diesel 4-Cylinder Engine and backed by the 5-Speed Automatic Transmission, this car is a joy to drive. It has only had one local female owner since new and it was used for commuting on the highway, so the miles are nearly all easy highway miles. Youll get over 40 MPG on the highway in this car, all while being pampered by the style, handling, and incredible interior detail of a VW. There arent any leaks or strange noises. The engine runs perfect and the transmission shifts perfect. I just had this car totally checked out and serviced by a local VW TDI specialist shop so it has a new fuel filter and timing belt. The timing belt was not in dire need of replacement, but they wanted to be on the safe side since we dont have a record of it being replaced. The TDI shop mentioned that this is the nicest car theyve seen in a long time. It has been extremely well cared for and maintained perfectly. They also found that the struts and shocks have all been replaced very recently. This car drives perfectly and is very tight with excellent power. Ive already put over 150 miles on this car myself and it has performed flawlessly. This car has no issues whatsoever and is ready to drive. This car has been very well cared for in all respects - mechanically, inside, and outside. The body of this car is very clean and since its lived in Texas since new, there isnt any rust or corrosion on the body, undercarriage or anywhere else. If you look really close you may find a couple microscopic door dings or a very light paint scuffs, but the exterior is certainly in above average condition. I took close-up pictures of the one imperfection I could find which is a cracked piece of chrome trim on the front bumper from a parking lot bump. Its not noticeable but its all I could find to note. This car is really very clean and looks great - especially with its rare color of "Spice Red". Moving to the interior, youll find even more evidence of how well this car has been cared for. All the carpet, leather, and other upholstery are original and look great with no tears, stains, or worn spots anywhere. There is virtually no wear showing anywhere at all. I also do not see any evidence of any pets ever being in the car. It is extremely clean and has not ever been smoked in. The interior does not have any strange smells. Everything works perfectly including the power windows, power locks, sunroof, etc. All the original books, manuals, and window sticker are present. All three original keys with the two original keyless remotes are all included. The original spare tire and tool kit is also present. Everything on this car works great and it is extremely clean and well kept. The buyer will be extremely pleased with the condition of this car. It drives excellent!
