we be tough to sell, but i have too many cars and too many mustangs. this is a 1968 mustang convertible - i am going to attach the marti report if that is possible. car was restored in the 80's and then sat in a garage for 24 (from 1985-2010). i have bring driving it since and have put about 3 thousand miles on it i have paper work in 1984 when they had the engine done over - it had valves, lifters, rockers, timing chain all done. it was sent to a machine shop. explains why the car is so quiet now - you don't even know it's running. top is in great condition - power top works great. all gauges work - sometimes the gas gauge acts up. this is not a show car. interior is in great shape. tires are new in 2010 and have only a few thousand miles on them. original radio is in the trunk - current radio is like a crappy casette thing - it does work - but a nice radio should be put in i have included pictures of the underneath - you can see for your self it's in nice shape - car really shows no rot paint has chips here and there - if you need other pictures just ask - doors open and close great with no sagging - not looking to get 18-20k - it's a no reserve with a starting bid of 10k feel free to come check the car out - or send somebody to check it out could not cut and paste marti report - i can email it if you want to see it t-built at metuchen, 03 - mustang conv, c 289-2v engine, 76a - mustang convertible, r - highland green paint, ford #3067-a, 2g - ivy gold standard bucket seats 08D - schedule for build april 8, 1968, 15 newark ordering district, 2 - 2.79 standard axle ratio, w - c-4 cruise -o-matic trans - vehicle ordered with parchment power top, c4-cruis,power steering,am radio,deluxe seat belts,remote control left hand mirror, wheel covers one of 523 with these paint/trim codes current mileage is 30k - so i would say it is safe to assume 130k - car is currently registered and insured to me - we are a no title state - so you have to take my current registration and a bill of sale and your state will issue you a title if you are a title state - any questions just ask i have added more pictures - one taken today at my cousins house with the roof off as i have been driving the car this week - other pictures are of the frame rails and the trunk and doors. i have been asked it the car can be driven ??? - it can be driven anywhere - thanks
