1986 Monte Carlo SS Purchased in 2002 (on eBay), and driven as daily driver until 2010. When my second child was born the two door was no longer practical (I held out after the first child). Motor replaced in 2004 to liven it up. In less than a year the additional horsepower and was causing the factory original 200R4 transmission to slip. Transmission replaced with a performance built 700R4 with shift kit. No performance problems after the switch.
