This is a Chevrolet Pickup 1946...here is a little of his history ...My uncle bought it way back in 70' he started trying to do a frame off restoration but he never finished so after ten years seating in the garage he came back to it and decided to built a hot rod so he get a chevy camaro ( witch i do not remember was year or model) and he transfer all the front end with engine and transmission, steering, suspension, disk brakes.... to the pickup and weld the two frames together, replaced steering column , and rear end too. This came out really good but then he storage it since then...Four years ago he left us from this world and since then i keep the truck ....so now i decided to sell it i been moving this truck from place to place trying to keep it , now i have it in an storage witch i can not afford to pay it ...so sadly i have to let it go...Since i have no much knowledge or skill about cars...i did an inspection to try to describe this pick up the best i can...... Good things:Body in in great condition not rust and very straight .Truck is mostly complete. Doors open and close perfect , i can say that even better that my nissan truck! , door windows roll down and up with not problems...( they are glass) Seats are from the camaro in very good shape, wheels are like new and it have new tires on it. Underneath is very clean .Paint is "ok" satin black. Also i found some extra parts that i will give it away with the truck..metal panels , gear shifter (hurst) , contlol pedals wiper motor, windshield frame and some miscellaneous.... Bad Things:Engine seems freeze trying to turn it by hand not move at all ..i know that it was working before...but know time got it..Transmission must be good. (i don't know witch engine or trans it got on it) Since my uncle never finished some part never been installed like shifter and pedals are out and i can tell that he never made to cut the floor to installed them so are out, steering column is attached and works good but it need to be adjusted well to the dashboard because is moving.. Windshield and rear window are Plexiglas . Seats will need to be properly installed. This is a great truck and hard to find in this condition, This is a great PROJECT for some one with skills to finish it .I sell it as is what you see is what you get, any question be free to contact me i will try to answer the best i can!!!
