The estimated repair cost is from the Mercedez-Benz dealer, However You can get most of the repairs at your local mechanic for much less. The engine is in 100% condition. Yes I know it has 140K, however is lady driven, never abused, 99% of all maintance are done at Mercedes-Benz dealer and 90% is highway mileage. My girlfriend's sister bought it new from the dealer and then my GF bought it from her, and she had this car for about 9 years now. Extremely reliable car. >New AC Compressor. Blows really cold.>Brand new 4 tires, still with 98% thread on them.>Sport PKG: It has AMG 17" rims. Wider tires and with sporty lower look than the regula SLK320. >6 Disc CD Changer>Absolutely no oil leaks. >Transmission works great, shift smoothly. >the retractable hard top works 100% The only mechanical repair needed: 1-Yaw rate sensor -- This is for the traction control that determine when it should kick in. Estimated repair cost at Mecedez-Benz dealer: $1000-$1,500. It can be disabled (turn the traction control off) however I will not recommend it. Cosmetically: Headlights are foggy -- Minor issuePaint on hood oxidized -- Minor issue-- needs repainting. Left side mirror / Rearview mirror are oxidized -- both can be repelaced wihtout a mechanic, they are minor fixes, but recommended.Headliner falling down -- minor issue, but recommended since it is a little annoying.
