1966 Ford Mustang!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang that is rust free and in excellent condition!!!! This gorgeous Mustang features a fully rebuilt power train consisting of a hi-performance engine rebuild, 4 barrel carb, a rebuilt performance transmission, new aluminum driveshaft and a posi rear end. This car has been gone through from tip to tail with all new chrome, gorgeous yellow paint, beautiful interior, new wheels and tires, power disc brakes, rally-pac and that great GT look!!!. This Mustang also has upgrades in the handling department consisting of a rebuilt suspension featuring polyurethane bushings and a larger front sway bar. The car is painted in the gorgeous factory Ford shade of yellow over a new black interior. This is 100% rust free Mustang that has spent much of its life if not all of its in the dry desert southwest. This is one of the tightest driving Mustangs I have ever driven. This was a very well built car and it truly shows. This car has plenty of power and the car drives excellent!!! One look at this car from the outside, inside or underneath and you can tell that tens of thousands of dollars have been poured into this car. Click to enlarge Exterior: This Mustang looks great finished in a beautiful shade of yellow complete with Black accent stripe and all appropriate GT decor. The car was recently painted and it looks great!!! The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine since it was a Basecoat/Clear coat paint job. When the car was painted, it was done properly. The car was dismantled and painted... not a simple "tape and shoot" kind of paint job. The windshield was removed and a new windshield was put in. All of the rubber seals are brand new and fresh. I really love the polished torque thrust wheels and contrasting chrome with the beautiful paint. The exterior is really set off by the GT look with functioning grill lights and great looking exhaust exiting through the rear valance. This is a car that you could bring to a local car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great long weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in great shape. Click to enlarge Interior: The classic black interior of this Mustang is new and in excellent condition. The seats were rebuilt with new foam when reupholstered and are very comfortable. The interior also features the desirable rally-pac gauges which adds a clock as well as a tachometer. The brand new steering wheel looks great and feels great sliding through your hands. All of the gauges work and look great. The interior is free of stains and tears. The headliner and door panels are also new and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad was also replaced and is in perfect condition. The sun visors, kick panels, entrance strips etc... are all new and the interior shows as new. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to waste the weekend away. Click to enlarge Engine: The Ford V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine was rebuilt within the last 400 miles and features a host of mild performance upgrades. The car was treated to a holley 4 barrel carb, performance intake as well as a mild camshaft for increased performance. The engine has been treated to a set of the classic Cobra valve covers and Cobra style air cleaner that finishes the engine bay nicely. This Mustang sounds GREAT!!! The engine exhales through a set of long tube ceramic coated headers and exits through a true dual exhaust system. The transmission was completely gone through as well and has been rebuilt to match the extra power the engine is putting out. The cars transmission is very responsive and shifts very smoothly. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The steering can often be a low point on a classic Mustang, but this car with the added larger sway bar and rebuilt suspension this pony really handles great!!! Its much better than your typical "Muscle Car." Everything underneath the car has been touched, rebuilt and upgraded. The car has a new aluminum driveshaft, new control arms, new sway bar, all new bushings, new brakes, rebuilt rear end with posi, and a rebuilt transmission, new fuel lines, I mean the list goes on and on!!! The car features a modern set of power disc brakes and the car stops with ease. With all of the subtle upgrades this car really is a blast to drive!!! All of the upgrades compliment each other and none of it takes away from the classic appeal of the car. This really is a great car to spend time in!
