Here, I am Selling my Mothers T-Bird. I have recently rebuilt the mechanicals on this car for reliability. I am a licenced Aircraft Mechanic and have rebuilt a few award winning cars here in Southern California ('54 MG and '85 BMW M635CSI). However I am not a "body shop" person and do not have those types of tools. Mechanically this car is awesome and the body is in very good condition if not excelent. This is a properly maintained Cailfornia car that has always been stored in the garage. This T-bird runs and drives excellent. The odometer reads 22,571, I would think it has rounded once and is most likely 122,571, engine most likely has the same mileage, not sure though, but runs very good and transmission shifts smooth, no problems. As you can see this T-Bird is Black with Red/White Interior. We have the Hardtop in white with the Portholes and the headliner is in excellent condition. Has Continental Kit, Interior was recently reupholstered at Prestige Thunderbird in Santa Fe Springs, CA along with parts that I purchased from them. Exterior bodywork was also done by them approximatly 8 years ago. I hand rubbed the exterior but, a professional polish job would make this black paint job just Gleam. Paint has a few minor impefections small chips on door edge and one above front right headlight. Next is a list of items... 312 Cu In Engine with 3 Speed AutoTransmission, Highly detailed engine compartment, Rebuilt 4-barrel "teapot" carburetor...no problems, Powdercoated Fan Shroud and Misc Brackets, Cad-plated Fuellines and original hardware along with upgraded Grade 8 hardware when applicable to install new ones with self-locking nuts. Ceramic-coated original Exaust Manifolds, Polished Aluminum Valve Covers, Completely new exhaust system all the way thoughout, new fuel tank... Interior in in excellent condition, Recent new upholstery, Electric Seats and Windows that operate very good, T&C Radio, Heater system, All surrounding glass is very good as is the Chrome also... Brake system is "All new", Master and Slave cylinders with Silicone brake fluid, All new hardlines and rubber lines, new Brake shoes,of course, springs, retainers, handbrake cable... Steering system also has new/rebuilt parts, Power Steering Cylinder, Hydraulic Control Valve Assembly, All new power steering lines Steeing Box and Pump have not been replaced, they operate fine. Suspension, New Springs, New Bilstien Shocks (Front/Back), New Bushings, Powder coated A-Arms and all 5 steel wheels that are in excellent, New Coker Classic P205/75SR15 Whitewall Radial Tires, Spare is Bias-ply to fit Continental Kit, 5 new Stainless Steel Polished Hubcaps, New U-Joints, HD Front Sway Bar.. This T-bird does need, if you want to..., re-chrome the rear bumper, it is straight, (I might take it off and get it done myself soon, but, negotiable) Polish exterior paint, however "as is" very presentable, Clock is not operating.
