RARE 150 Body style. 1956 Chevrolet Two door sedan. Car comes from Brenham Texas and was owned by a doctor who was building the car as a Pro Tour but fell into bad health and gave up the car. Prior to that the car was stored over 25 years and the body shows it. Body lines and panel gaps are perfect. Has a built 350 with new Eckler motor mounts and rear tranny cross member. with victor high rise polished aluminum intake, stainless steel block hugger headers, new Holley street fighter carb , #6 stainless braided fuel line with AN6 fittings, New one wire alternator with the expensive brackets . 350 Tranny totally serviced out and Lokar kickdown cable setup installed, B&M shifter . Front end and suspension totally rebuilt with all new parts from ECKLERS, upper and lower tubular a arms, new shocks (rear coil overs) and new springs. Brakes are all new with Power disc up front and drum on rear including all new hard and soft brake lines. Body is straight as a string and has only been repainted once since '56. NO rust under car or in floors or rockers......you can eat off the bottom of this car! The old dusk rose metallic is faded and gives the car the right look of a '60's hot rod. Car has Vintage Cragar SS wheels and new radials all around. The car is presently running open headers but we have the old complete exhaust system intact and it can be installed if buyer wishes at our buy it now. There are some bubbles along the tops of both drip rails that are no hill for a climber but worth the mention. Car has the retro look that everyone is after these days!
