Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon. One owner car, always south (NC and FL) - solid body and a beautiful underside as seen in pics. Loaded up with leather and power everything.Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power and the 2.93 limited slip rear end (GW9 and G80 build codes) maximize traction to the pavement. Trailer preparation "tow package" equipped - car rated to pull 5000 but has no hitch as it's never towed (despite trailer prep name, these did not come from the factory with hitches.) Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and I'll send you the Carfax. Runs and drives nicely - no issues - get in and drive anywhere in confidence. NO RESERVE. Please have funds in place prior to bidding. Questions? Click "ask seller a question" or call Fred at 315-246-0612. Please allow time for a response as I work 8-5 at a regular job in Charleston. Car available for showing in Mt. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. New battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts perfectly. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight and super solid as you'd expect of a southern car. Minor crease low on right rear quarter as seen in pics. Above average. Paint: Paint is very nice and shiny with a couple scratches touched up - worst is low on right front door and left rear corner of bumper as pictured. Also above average. Wood: Upper fake wood trim was all removed from the car, sanded, painted and re-installed, so it's not peeling like most do at this age. Wood applique siding is mostly good but with 3 scratches about the size of the one pictured on the right rear door (others are on tailgate and right quarter.) Other: Lower stainless bright trim has only a few minor dings. Front bumper stainless trim is super straight. No cracks or tears in the plastic bumpers. Rubber side trim is present. Glass is all nice with no rock chips but edges of windshield are starting to fog as most original windshields on these do at this age. Beautiful undercarriage and frame with no rust, no rust in door jambs or tailgate sill, either, as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in good shape with a couple small blemishes and all center caps present and in good shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in pretty nice shape with some minor wear on the driver's seat. Carpets are nice and clean, dash has no cracks, door panels are in good shape. Headliner is in nice shape. Steering wheel leather wrap is starting to crack. Non-smoker's car - no smoke odors. Very nice interior overall; better than average. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, button horn, wipers, etc.) The auto leveling and heated seats do not work, but all other power stuff works properly including power windows, power locks, dual power seats with power recliners and power lumbar, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm cassette, power antenna, rear window release, rear wiper, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nice. Steering is tight, suspension pretty tight, and alignment is good. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires are a matched set of Michelins with about 60% tread remaining all around. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks in the pipes but minor leak at left exhaust manifold at start up (goes away when warm after running for just a minute.) Limited slip works properly and rear end is quiet. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - jump in and drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due in 5 days by cash in person, wire transfer, or Wells Fargo cashier's check. Will meet you or your transporter at my location by appointment after 6 pm weekdays or anytime weekends. No administrative fee on this auction. Any other costs - tax, emissions inspection, registration, shipping, etc. are buyer's responsibility - see full terms. 30 days to pick up. Temporary tags available at local license bureau on weekdays. WILL PICK YOU UP AT THE CHARLESTON, SC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT weekday evenings or any time weekends. Inspections are strongly encouraged, but by appointment only - please email or call. By bidding, you agree you are satisfied with the item description. Note that pickup times are by appointment only also - just call! Prepaid vehicles scheduled for transport can be picked up any time with at least 24 business hours' notice - have your driver call me.
