Highland Rod & Restoration spent over a year doing a frame-off to the highest standards. More than $65,000 was invested to recreate a beautiful convertible. This is an original 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible. The frame and exhaust manifold have been powder coated. The body was in very good shape when found and owner paid a premium for it to create beautiful restoration. Dismantled, put on twirler, completely media blasted and restored. The engine, transmission and driveline are all stock (No Hot Roding). New upholstery, carpet, top & liner, original glass, re-chromed, waterborne base coat/clear coat to original paint color, new tires, too much more to mention…… Please see pictures (although they do not do justice to this fine vehicle),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Drives straight and stop well, turns heads.
