1947 Ford Half Ton Panel Truck. This truck is a true driver. It rides on a Nova rear steer subframe with power disc brakes, power steering, and Shock Wave style Air Ride. The rear is GM 10 bolt Rearend on leaf springs with a nice highway gear. Packed under the hood is a 454 Chevy engine with an intake and edlebrock carb backed by a TH400 Trans. The engine is cooled by a new aluminum radiator with and electric fan. This truck will run all day at between 160 and 190 degrees. The trans is cooled by a turbo style trans cooler. The exhaust is headers and performance mufflers with a custom built side exhaust system. Sounds Great. This truck rides on Coker wide white radials bigs and littles mounted on Eagle alloy rims 15 X 8 4 3/4 bolt pattern. The spare is not matching and is a bias ply wide white with a 100 spoke wire wheel. The windshield is a custom one piece urethaned in and I can add that it does not leak a drop. The Power side glass as well as the rear barn door glass is new. On the inside she has a pair of gray leather Corvette Buckets that are very comfortable. It has a GM tilt column and custom wheel. The hand made wood dash is complimented with Stewart Warner winged gauges that all work except the fuel gauge. It has a custom 15 Gal. fuel tank mounted between the frame rails under the rear of the truck, I think the problem is the sending unit. On the other side of the dash is a Ground shaking Stereo That Rocks. it’s a 6 speaker system with amps and subwoofers. you cant make these speakers rattle. The rest of the interior is a combination of vinyl ostrich skin and wood with gray carpet. The exterior of the truck has patina. The body is rock solid. The chrome is near perfect. I would have to add that if your looking for something with a show car finish, this aint your truck, however if your lookin for a great driver with some patina you wont find a better one. I am sure I have missed something but just ask if I have not covered it here. UPDATE!!!I have updated a couple things since the photos. I have put carpet down on the floor in the back and added some lights mainly at my wifes request because we have 15 grandkids that love to ride around in back. I have not reinstalled table in back yet but it would be included. Also several people have asked about the surf board. It is NOT included. It belongs to a friend and it and the roof rack was only on it for the photos. Sorry if that's a deal breaker. NO RESERVE!!!
