Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevrolet Chevelle model 300 post sedan Yhis is a unique, straight, solid, tight car. All 4 floor pans have been replaced, welded in, and seamed. The quarter panels are straight and are all metal - NO bondo, amazingly nice. They must have been replaced at some point in time. The interior is gold with silver two-tone, the dash is silver on the bottom with gold soft pad top, same with the doors - the top silver, door panels are gold. Front and rear glass, along with dash were removed and painted separately. Nice corners - see photos. No rust, no holes. All the glass is good, no cracks, clean, no bubbling, no delaminating. All the windows work smooth, no binding. All the lights work including all dash lights and the dome light. The heater core is new and the fan works all 3 speeds. Windshield wipers, horn, and reverse lights all work correctly, so do the factory 4-way flashers. The dash has after-market chevy look-a-like radio with cassette - plays nicely. I installed power disc brakes GM type. Car also has quick ratio power steering, it handles great and stops straight and smooth. Now for the good stuff: the engine is a 1967 427 cubic inch big block. For you number guys, the casting numbers are 3904351 - which decodes as a 1967 427 cubic inch. Factory underrated at 390 horsepower. Currently with the cam, intake, carb and headers its pushing well in excess of 425 horsepower. This engine has 3,000 miles since rebuild. Standard bore never been punched out, build included honing cylinders, piston rings, stainless valves, polished crank, mild head work, cam, lifters, new oi pump, and timing chain. Car holds 75 pound of oil pressure cold, 30 pounds at 200 degrees. Car runs 200 degrees on 95 degree day. It fires up hot or cold, mini high torque starter/transmission is turbo 400 with B+M shift kit, Hurst quarter 1/4 stick with reverse lock out. Trans was built the same time as the engine/fresh 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears, heavy duty coil springs, with boxed lower control arms, neoprene bushings in the arms, flowmasters are around 1 year old, sounds awesome. If you look at the pictures, under the front of the car you'll note spindles, backing plates, hub assemblies are also all new, done with disc brake conversion. Bid with confidence, this is not a show car but it is quite nice and it runs it's ass off. It handles quite well. This car is here to be sold to the highest bidder. If you do not have the money, please do not bid. These auctions do cost money, so only serious bidders please. P.S. the cowl hood is a steel Goodmark unit that fits quite well. This car looks as good in person as the pictures you see. Paint is smooth and shiny, I'd call it 8/10. Please call if you have questions. If you want to see this car and you're local, I'm more than happy to show it. No disappointments, someone will end up with a very nice car. P.S. I forgot to mention front bumper, front grill, and headlight bezels are all new, as well as headliner and sun visors. Also, the car's title read exempt because of the age, eBay required mileage before I could list the car. Winning bid must leave $2,000 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours end of auction. I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. Joe 610-203-6561 I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking this is a "copo" car. It is exactly what it appears to be - a 300 model with a 1967 427 cubic inch engine. Obviously if it was I would have emphasized the fact that it was. I forgot to mention this is an original gold gg code car gold on gold with original interior seats and seat belts.
