You are bidding on a beautiful Porsche Carrera Convertible,with 68,000 original documented miles.I have ownership and maintenance records going back to 1987.This Porsche is in near perfect condition considering it is 25yrs. old.From 1999 to 2003 it was entered in 9 Concours D'Elegance events that were fully judged by PCA[Porsche Club of America] judges and never failed to place.It took 3-1st. places and 5-2nd. places+ 1-5th. place[in a 2 classes combined in a PCA zone 1 Concours event].This is a highly optioned car with following options:Full powered seats left+right,lumbar supports left+right,power top,power windows,front spoiler,forged alloy wheels,limited slip differential,automatic heating control,cruise control,air conditioning,tonneau cover,central locking system+headlight washers.The car always starts right up,the engine is tight with no leaks and does not burn any oil.It shifts thru the gears with ease[clutch was replaced with upgraded parts at 40500 miles] and the car drives straight down the road[front end is nice and tight].The tires are excellent,interior is excellent,carpet and dash are excellent and everything works,lights,guages,clock,heater etc.The body is laser straight and top is like brand new.Now the bad points:the a/c needs to be re-charged as it leaks over the winter,but does work over the summer when charged,one of the snaps is missing on the tonneau cover,the trunk+hood support shocks are weak and if you are picky the hood and trunk could use a buffing as they are a little sun faded---thats it.The car has been meticulously maintained with all required maintenance being done on time or sooner than required[over 10,000.00 in work].I have dates and event names in which the car placed and a whole book full of receipts and previous owners names[4] going to 1987.All in all this is an almost perfect example of a 911 Carrera cabriolet that you could drive anywhere.Please give me 24hrs. to return emails or call me on my cell 1-208-664-0125,thanks Harry.On Sep-25-12 at 14:55:03 PDT, seller added the following information: When I said 1 of the snaps is missing on the tonneau cover,I meant the convertible top cover.The car has all the snaps for a tonneau cover to go on it,but I DO NOT HAVE THE TONNEAU COVER,only the convertible top cover.I have lowered the reserve to compensate for my goof up.Thank you,Harry.
