A gorgeous example of the classic w116 chassis, this car is a one owner California car, with no rust and original paint. The car was purchased in Pasadena and has been very well maintained. Only one small dent on passenger side front quarter panel above turning light. The exterior paint is manila beige (paint code 681), looks like butter scotch, with rich bamboo interior. I've darkened some of the photos trying to capture the rich color but it is a very difficult color to photograph without the paint looking washed out. The dash, door panels, center wood, roof liner, and door pillars are immaculate. Car has 4 new tires, polished wheels with matching spare, new shocks, climate control, wind shield, front and rear window gasket, hood pad, light doors, motor mounts, golden tint on all windows and CD stereo. Small lead badge attached to front of engine (see picture #11) block indicates factory updates were made sometime during the cars life. All fluids and filters have been replaced. This car gets lots of attention when driven around town, it's a classic that will continue to provide reliability, comfort and economy, for years to come. This would be a great car for the first year college student easy to maintain, good fuel economy, and safe to drive.
