Up for auction is a very restorable 1965 Triumph Spitfire Mk2 This car is in very excellent restorable condition The frame / chassis has had a lot of the work already done the body appears to have had new rear main floor sections installed very well. The fronts are very good alsoSeveral parts have already been replaced or blasted and painted that bolt onto the chassisFront and rear suspension appear to be all redone with new front shocks and springs the rear appears to have a new rear leaf spring installed / new shocks in pics or new ones already in place. Appears to be a brand new fuel tank The engine ran approx 1 mth ago with a electric pump and can of gas but since then I have not run and the fuel tank I do not think is fully hooked up as of yet Front clip is in very good condition tires are excellent but one goes flat. Comes with several spares and parts to be yet installed new pads / carb major rebuild kits / brake lines etc. Comes with a RARE factory steel hardtop in very good condition { will need some work } These alone bring $400-$600 in good shape Convertible top frame and top supplied. Top frame does work fine Comes with a top cover and a tonneau cover that cover the whole cockpit with a zipper up the middle. Doors do open and close fine but the shell will have to be taken off to complete restoration and the proper Triumph body to frame shims to be installed for the correct proper alignment. Not bad as it sits though. Have receipts from Victoria British for over $400.00 see pics Perfect project car for an easy winter restoration Only minor damage seen on body is in rear right of car but easy bumped out. Pics make it look worse than it actually is...
