I recently aquired this fine 1977 450SL from the estate of the owner who is deceased. It had been in storage for the last twenty years. I replaced the catalytic converter and added a new fuel pump. Runs and drives great. Paint is in excellent condition. Red leather seats are also very nice. The carpet shows no wear. The soft top is like new and appears to have had little use. Has wire wheels that are decent but have a little pitting. Tires are older but are in good shape and have 90% tread. Odometer shows 77710 miles but I drive it ocassionally so the miles will be a few more. Stock radio was replaced by PO with a Sony single disk player and radio.I was planning to keep this jewel but decided it's not my cup of tea after all. This is a no reserve auction.
