I'm selling my 1969 Renault R4 that I brought from France. I brought this Renault 4 about a year ago from the southern part of France. I have really enjoyed driving it around town, going grocery shopping, carrying my bikes around, etc. The car is a real head turner. This Renault R4 is very versatile. The interior is actually in very good shape. The dash is crack free as it is actually plastic molded, the seats are in great shape, they are firm and plush and are in good working condition. The headliner is not torn, it is clean and tight. All the lights are working properly. This R4 has never been restored before. The car is very solid with only surface rust on the undercarriage and one rust hole spot on the passenger floor board. The passenger side has a large dent on the chassis which appeared to have happened when the car was loaded into the container. 80% of the paint is original; I believe that both rear fenders were repainted at some point of time. The body is straight but it does have some dings and dents in various places. The rear section is all open when the rear seat is folded forward which is great to load things in. The R4 has a 850 cc engine with a 4 Speed transmission. The car runs and drives very well. The engine and transmission are working flawless. There are no issues with driving this little car. The car is currently registered in California and has a Californian title. The odometer shows 25650 km but I would think that it means that it has 125.000km. This R4 is real head turner, every where I go I get thumbs up, "what is it", very cool, etc. Recent work done on the car: 1) New points, condenser, cap and rotor 2) Carburetor clean-up 3) New muffler 4) New steering box rod ends and dust boots 5) New track rod bushings I will assist you with shipping to anywhere in the US or Worldwide.
