Ford celebrated its golden anniversary with a new truck in 1953. The 1953-1956 Ford F-100 pickup styling was clean and modern, but it had more. It looked like a real truck: tough, solid, practical, and ruggedly handsome. That might explain its success when it first became available, and also its cult-like following as a collector vehicle today. Own a spectacular and rare 1955 Ford F-100 pick-up that has been restored to original and is a drive away winner. This truck’s full off- frame restoration began with a solid F-100 frame and body. This ford 100 features the following custom upgrades: VIN # F10D5B11867 Rebuilt 223 CID straight six motor Rebuilt 3 speed manual transmission Push start ignition Restored headliner New gauges - speedometer, oil and temp, etc. New interior- seat, headliner, floor liner and door panels, etc. Working Air Condition & Heat Custom pedals New headlights and headlight surrounds New Ford logo chrome wheels Sentry LT Super radial tires (215 85 R16) Oak bed Dual exhaust Custom red and black paint Aftermarket Sony sound system and much more… Mechanically: Truck has a rebuilt 223 CID straight six motor and a 3 speed manual transmission with a push button ignition. Truck did great on the test drive. Note: Engine leaks a little bit of oil. Exterior: This truck is painted in red and black, custom paint is stunning and in very good condition. The chrome shines and compliments the paint and exterior beautifully. Truck also has new Sentry LT Super radial tires (215 85 R16) and Ford logo chrome wheels, dual exhaust, black front and back bumpers, new headlights and headlight surrounds, new taillights and oak bed liner. The body is straight. Glass is in intact, windows roll up and down nicely. Wipers work and are in good condition. Running boards have new Ford logo step plates. Undercarriage is clean, no rust or damage whatsoever. Interior: Trucks interior has been completely refinished to original with a bench style seat that is upholstered in black leather. Gauges are new and match original, truck has oil, battery and temperature gauge. There is also an aftermarket temperature gauge that is mounted under the headliner. Headliner has been beautifully restored. All lights and signals work as they should. Door panels are new. Truck has working AC and heat. Truck comes with an aftermarket Sony sound system, CD player and speakers fit in nicely with the original restored interior.
