Awesome pop top camper ready to go. Mechanically it is in very good condition and ready for a road trip now. There is a little rust on the hatchback by the window and on the right rear rocker panel. The two rear tires are new and the brakes were recently redone. The engine and automatic transmission are strong and don't leak any fluids. The engine was replaced by the previous owner and has been maintained carefully ever since by a qualified VW mechanic (trained at the factory). The tent is new and has windows on the front and sides, allowing good ventilation and light. The AC does not work, the blower motor blows fuses when it runs. The compressor is a few years old. The wheels and tires are the larger size of the two factory options available and provide a nice ride on the freeway. The stove fridge and sink work, but I never use the fridge. I use the stove and silk all the time and they are great. And I have the front curtain, the rear screen, the owners manuals and the two original keys. We are selling to buy a vehicle to tow our boat.
