FOR SALE: 1957 Oldsmobile - 88 Two Door Sedan - 86,000 + miles. Car was stored/unused for 20 years. Bumpers were chromed and a quick paint job done in 1976, and assembled after we got it at a estate auction in 96 (bumpers were in trunk, wrapped in Minneapolis newspaper with ad for movie GREASE). This color and model is what the Petty Family (Lee white, Richard blue) ran in NASCAR. Original /stock (numbers matching) with five 15" wire wheels and dual pipes. I do have a 3 deuces manifold and 4 14" flipper 57 wheel covers. Original interior, except carpet (new in 96) and dash cover. Missing original lighter, stolen out of car at show. Radio is Am/Fm cassette behind original face. Quiet 371" Golden Rocket 4 barrel engine has burned valve and leaks/burns quart of oil per tank of gas. 4 speed hydramatic works good. Little rust other than left fender bottom, and right rocker panel. Brakes are now power with dual master and it has a alternator. No power steering ,clock, or AC. This year we have been to "Back to the 50s", and in two local parades. My 54 Stude project gets my time, so you decide if its overhaul, or a Chevy crate motor. Centers are replaced(welded in) 5x5 pattern. They run true but have rust on some spokes. Note small dent(no paint) by gas door.
