Vehicle Detail

This is a non-smoker car which has NOT been subjected to pets or kids. I bought this car new, i.e. I am the first and only owner of this car, I am a private party. I just had the car detailed, so it looks like new inside, and extremely good outside. (Note that some of the pictures are from before the detailing, so if you see dirt or dust it is now gone). It is loaded with every option that was available for a Prius that year (except leather covered steering wheel). It has Package #7 which includes: Extra airbags:Driver and front passenger front seat-mounted side air bagsFront and rear side curtain airbagsSafety features:Backup cameraVehicle Stability Control (VSC)High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlampsIntegrated fog lampsConvenience features:Voice-activated DVD navigation systemKeyless entry and ignition (Toyota calls it a "Smart Key System")Auto-dimming rearview mirrorHomeLink universal transceiver (for opening garage doors, etc)Cruise controlInfo-tainment systemBluetooth hands-free phone capabilityJBL AM/FM 6-disc in-dash CD changer with nine speakers in seven locationsauxiliary audio input jack (for playing music from your iPhone, etc)MP3/WMA playback capabilityAnti-theft system In addition it has: Leather seats (they were put in by the Toyota dealership at time of purchase) Maintenance was performed as per the intervals in the owner's manual. This car has never had any mechanical issues, other than expected consumables, i.e. tires, light bulbs, etc. Condition: This car is in excellent condition for its mileage. Here are the only problems I'm aware of: There is a piece of trim on the front passenger door that is broken. (I've included a picture of this). The batteries in the tire pressure monitoring system need replacement (this is expected for a 2006). They're expensive to replace.I had a tire place look at the tires. They say that 2 are good, 2 are ready for replacement. The tires on the car are not Low Rolling Resistance. I put these on because the original tires were horrible, both for wear and handling. I gave up about 3 mpg when I moved to the tires that are now on the car. (The car still always got more than 40mpg). But if you want maximum mpg, you'll need to replace all 4 tires, which isn't a bad idea anyhow. You now can get decent low rolling resistance tires, so you don't have to make the tradeoff I did when I originally replaced them. There are some scuffs and marks on the rear valence (I have included a picture of this) Overall the paint is in really great condition, but it is not absolutely perfect. There are some tiny chips (about 1mm diameter) in the paint, as well as some fine scratches near the door handles. One of the remotes had the red "panic" keycap fall off. But it works fine (as does the other) I've included a pictureIf you want, for $650 above the winning bid I will replace all four tires (with Low Rolling Resistance ones) and replace the batteries for the tire pressure monitoring system. You can do this yourself for a little less (I'm charging for my time), but I'm thinking that maybe some people need the cost included in the invoice for financing purposes. History: This the second time that I'm putting the car up for auction. The winner last time was an almost-new ebayer, who never placed the deposit and did not respond to multiple emails from me asking them to complete the transaction. They never saw the car, in fact they never contacted me at all. The car had a small dent/scrape repaired on the passenger side front door. It was pretty minor, but it did include paint work. I had someone ask me what portion was painted, and I looked hard and couldn't tell. To my eye (which is pretty darn good), the match is perfect, the paint is indistinguishable from factory. The driver's side taillight was replaced recently. I had cracked it when the car was a week old, hitting it with a swinging suitcase on the way to a trip. Before selling the car I decided to fix the cracked taillight.I repaired a couple small things on the interior before putting the car up for sale. The driver's seat was worn, so I had it re-upholstered with leather in the same color and same manufacturer as it originally was. The front floor mats were pretty tired, so I bought new ones. This car is really nice inside. I reserve the right to cancel the bid of anyone with less than 95% positive feedback and/or less than 10 transactions on eBay. If you fall into either of these situations, contact me before you bid. I think I've covered everything, feel free to ask me any questions you have.
