1992 Mercedes-Benz 2.5L Turbo Diesel This vehicle was purchased new in Dallas Texas and has spent its entire life in Dallas Texas. It was just recently driven up to Pennsylvania. A great and rare opportunity on a dry Texas vehicle, with no current or future rust issues! Nearby transportation include: Harrisburg Airport, Lancaster Airport, Philadelphia Airport, Lancaster Amtrak Station Although this vehicle is in excellent condition for its age of 20 years. It has normal wear and tear which I will mention now. One of the things that is hard to detect in the photographs is there is a crease dent on the passenger front door. Its more visible in certain angles of sunlight. Its not a major dent but it does somewhat take away from a perfect vehicle. On the left side of the vehicle, more so the driver side rear quarter panel, directly behind the driver rear door there was some bird droppings which I was unable to remove. If you look carefully you will see it has turned a bit white in that small area. The front grille has a small chip one it but barely detectable. The vacuum for the power door locks has a leak somewhere so the door locks work fine if you use it manually. The AM/FM radio works well however the volume is a little hard to adjust. It works fine but just leave it at a certain volume setting. I would replace it. As far as normal things are concern you can expect a few door nicks and sand blasting on the front end. All normal aesthetics of a used vehicle. The vehicle starts right up and runs wonderful. The Air conditioning blows cold and works great on all settings. The interior I would have to say is in brand new condition. The dashboard is unbelievable for a 1992 Mercedes as the dash cover kept it in new condition. The seats are still soft and still are very stiff while maintaining comfort. If you check the carfax on it you will see it has only been registered in the state of TEXAS all its life and it shows it. All of the body panels are corrosion free as is the undercarriage. I have family in Texas who is in the car business, it took me about a year to find a 300D turbo that was black on black in this condition. This car has been in my possession for about six months unused. Things have changed and I have decided to move on to a new car. Since it has been sitting I would suggest changing all fluids within the next several months. This 300D will make someone very happy, and it will last forever. Why buy an 85 300D when you can get something more modern. Unlike the 1995 versions this 1992 has a TURBO CHARGED engine which has wonderful acceleration while maintaining excellent fuel economy. If your looking at this auction I'm sure you understand how this is known to be the most reliable car in the world. Shipping if required to be handled and paid by the buyer.
