An old body style fj40, it has a new fuel pump and radiator hoses, new tires, exhaust system, catalytic converter, recent major tuneup, rebuilt axle trunions, completely new brake system including cylinder assembly,new steering damper and tie rod ends, probably about $4000-5000 worth of parts less than 2 years old and fewer than 5000 miles. It has over 175000 miles on it. The floor and rear quarter panels are rusted, the engine consumes a fair bit of oil, the front seats are torn, and there is some leaking through the weather sealiing on the rear doors and under the dash. The springs and shocks need to be replaced soon, thats the only thing keeping it from being a totaly functional daily driver. I have dealership receipts from this work if you want to take a look at them. The same mechanic worked on this car for over the last decade and he does great work. The power steering and the AC still work great. The truck has been in my family since 1982, and its sad to see it go.
