1931 Ford Roadster 31 Brookville Body Built for Robert Fisher by Vern Tardel in the year 2000. Painted Nitrocellulose Lacquer MOTOR… 1950 Ford 239 cubic inch Flat Head with Merc Crank (all machine work done by H & H) 9.5 compression isky cam Edlebrock Heads 2x2 OFFY Intake with 94 Carbs new valve’s and water pump, oil pump, Gen Alt, Custom Pulleys, custom Ignition, custom oil filter, 39 Ford top Loader TRANS… Trans Rebuilt, New clutch Press Plate and Fly Wheel. FRAME… Model “A” Frame with 4 Z in Rear 1933-Ford X Frame Trans Mount modified for 1939Transmision 1939 Brakes and clutch pedals Flathead motor mounts. 4” DRP 1932” Front Axle 1933 Radius Rods 8” Added to wishbone 1940 Ford Rear Axle rebuilt 1948 Ford Torque’ tube shortened and radius rods F1 Bendix Brakes on front and rear 1940 Ford Master Cylinder 1948 F1 Pickup steering box modified for “A” Frame 1940 Ford 16” wheels F/Tires R/Tires 1950 Pontiac tail lamps 1950 style license lamp 32 Grille & Radiator, 32 Head Lamps Custom Dash and Interior Assembled by Richard W Kertson 2012… · Rear Axle assembly…all new gaskets and bearing seals along with brakes, shock mounts, custom built rear end, spring to lower the frame (work done by RWK). · Frame is straight, had to modify clutch and brake pedals. (Not done at time on frame and X frame mat). · Motor runs “AWESOME”, resealed and new gaskets, water pumps, rebuilt carbs, starter, custom fan and pulleys, custom oil lines, new fuel pump and manifold. This work is filled with the finest of details and a lot of work went into doing it right. · Rebuilt transmission, “Nice Gears”, new seals, gaskets, clutch press plate, fly wheel, bearing, custom pedal to fit “A” Frame. · Blasted frame, filed extra holes and left running board holes. Refit cross member for better fit, welded right shock mounts, misc. welding to tighten frame (Square) PPG Black Paint, Epoxy Primer. · Body was Re polished and drilled deck lid handle, tail lamps, “All” New Wood, Custom Fit, 25 T Gas Tank, Battery Tray, Sedan Floor Hump to Cover Rear Cross Member, New Windshield, 32 Dash with Stewart warner gauges, 40 Ford Column, Custom old 17” Steering Wheel. · 32 Grille & Radiator, New hoses and clamps, new hub caps & Trim Rings, Sanderson Lake Headers with Custom Mufflers, Lots of New Nuts & Bolts. · Lots and Lots of time, we had a lot of FUN putting this car together and took great pride in the neat details. we have lots of pics upon request and please e-mail us with any questions.... you WILL NOT find a better built car....Underground Customs Austin TEXAS Check us out on Facebook
