My Alpine is a project or parts car, but I hope she returns to the road. I was driving Princess until 5 years ago, when I popped the carbs to repair a leak. In a messy divorce, they and the linkage to the accelerator went missing. Except for that, the car probably is runnable. It could use a lot more work to make it shine; it has some rust, holes in the top, leather issues inside. Used carbs and linkage assembly are occasionally found on eBay, or a new system could be rigged. The vacuum brakes booster was reconditioned when I bought the car in 2004, and many rubber parts were also replaced. I am the third owner, and the car has just over 50,000 miles. From 1969 until her death, an Illinois schoolteacher had her and drove very short distances only in good weather. I bought Princess (named by the teacher) from her family and drove it from Illinois to Boston. The car can be seen in Pembroke, Mass. Please email to arrange that or with any questions.
