I am the second owner of the car purchased from an elderly couple in Ft Lauderdale Florida in 1986. I had intentions of customizing it however with work and other hobbies I never had the time. This is a very nice rust free car. Although located in Michigan it has never seen one winter. Even though mainly stored not driven I always took the time to start it up twice a year. Unfortunately due to a bad starter I could not start it the past three years. The brake pedal goes down to the floor and the windshield has a hairline crack about 14" wide on the drivers side. The front bumper is tweaked out of shape. When purchased the front clip had mismatched paint. I sanded it down in preparation for paint but never did get it painted. There are two minor indents on the hood above the hinges. This car is solid. It has a very small amount of surface rust. SEE PHOTOS. No worries about major rust through anywhere except for a tiny hole at the lower right hand corner of the rear window where the Florida sun deteriorated the weatherstripping. I have been monitoring the Plymouth listings over the past few months and compared to some of those this would be a delight to work on and get in tip top shape with ease. Honestly, if the buyer were to paint the front clip ( the under grille valance is in the trunk ) and rub out and wax the rest of the car, replace the front bumper, this Satellite would look like a million bucks! The interior is in great shape although a bit musty from being in storage which would be expected. There are no cracks in the dash pad or rear deck. The door and kick panels, armrests are very nice condition. Carpet is good. The headliner is good but sags a bit. I have shown pictures of the undercarriage. It has only some surface rust. Again... no need to be concerned about the integrity of the trunk and floor pans or the frame rails. What this car needs is a good home with somebody who has the time and inclination to bring her back to life. If you have been in the market for a Satellite, GTX or Roadrunner you know what is out there and how much of your time and money after the initial investment those would take to get into reasonable shape.
