This 1976 Van is owned by a company that used it for promotional events. No expense was spared when anything needed to be done. Most work was done by one of the best VW mechanics in the country Nu Vintage in Denver, CO. We have $18,000 in to this great van. Here are some recent items replaced or repaired. Rebuilt the engine (NuVintage) less than 1,000 miles ago including Intake boots, seals, Distributor cap, rotor, points. cost $5,000Rebuilt ClutchReplaced ingnition switch and all other door locksRepaired lights, brakes and parking brakeNew windshieldNew mufflerNew Pioneer CD player with ipod connect including new front speakers. Car Toys did the installation. $648 spent recentlyThe paint looks brand new. There is some rust on the dash under the dash mat that should be taken care of. We never used the stove or hooked up the propane but it appears to be in good condition. The top pops up easily and both beds are very comfortable. The instrument panel is not working and could use a new panel. Should only be a few hundred dollars. We will take the van back to NuVintage before selling to have the engine examined as it is still under warranty. We have babied this van but don't use it any more.
