I bought this car 8 years ago from a Hollywood commercial producer. His wife kicked him out of the house and made him sell the car before she would let him back in. She was jealous of all the attention he got in this car and did not trust her husband to wield the pure animal magnetism that radiates from this automobile. When I picked up the car he asked if I was single. I allowed that I was and he cocked his head to the side and muttered "you are going to love this car". He was correct. It is a fact that on more than one occasion strange women have just gotten right in the car at stoplights. My social life changed dramatically when I started driving this car. So did my facial hair. Unfortunately absolute power corrupts absolutely and instead of using this car to find a wonderful wife and settle down, I instead became a bit of a rake. It is now time for me to sell the car and grow up. The past eight years in the new mexico sun have not been kind. The upholstry that was perfect, now has tears in it.The paint has faded a bit and the clear coat is peeling in places.There is a sticky lifter that makes a little tapping sound.The corrosive kavorka has even caused some rust problems. The funny thing is, its power only seems to have increased! The electric top works well but one of the latches needs repair, it works but is a bit of work when latching the passenger side top up and down.A bit of wax and a good detailing and this thing will be ready for Saturday night. The Plymouth blue color is very rare on convertibles and is by far the most flattering color for the body-style.
