This was a car that my son purchased almost 25 years ago as a father & son project. When purchased, it was discovered in the original owner's garage where it had been sitting for more than 10 years. It took more than 3 hours to remove the car from the garage. We completed a number of renovations... new fuel pump, carburetor, brakes, re-cored radiator, cleaned gas tank and coated its interior, etc. Then my son went away to college... the story ends there. I've kept the car for many years... it has filled half of my garage in two houses for almost 20 years. It now has to go. My son is married with a family and I have no time or equipment to proceed with the project. The car is basically sound, It has been garaged for almost its entire life. It does have some rust (Driver rear quarter is worst spot), but it is actually in good shape relative to others this age. . The interior is sound in most places, but dirty. Driver's door does not lock correctly, must be adjusted / repaired. The car was running, but has not been run for several years. I am confident with proper preparation it will run. Please keep in mind, this is a project car... it is a restoration project. All major parts are 100% original. On Aug-21-12 at 17:53:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had some further questions.... more pictures have been added and some more details are below: The trunk, shock towers and frame rails appear to be sound. The picture showing the driver side ride shows some discoloration, but it is sound metal. The floor pan on the driver's side is rusted through... a common problem that can be repaired with after-market replacements. The interior of the car is sound - no big rips, tears, etc. - but it is dirty... I believe there is some mildew... it does smell like that. As mentioned before, the driver rear quarter is the worst. As new pictures show, there are minor issues on trailing edge of other quarters at the wheel. A very common problem. Please.... feel free to ask any questions, request more information. I have manually turned the crankshaft with no difficulty whatsoever. The engine is NOT seized. Again... feel free to ask questions, request more information.
