Vehicle Detail
ok here you have an incredible car. i bought this car in 2005 from a dealer in kanasas not knownig anything about what a great car this was. i quickly put together the pieces and fond the whole history of this car. i have it all documneted right down to the original selling dealer. i have even spoken to most of the owners including the original owner and how he came about getting it. i had the car registered through galien govier and found out it was # 39 of 71 made for 1972 like this car. so it is 1 of 71. pretty rare id say. it has all original sheetmetal. it has only been painted 1 time in its life in 1982 and looks beautiful to this day! the car is in near mint shape. it is dirty now as shown in pictures. sadly i am in the middle of a move and a divorce so i did not have time to properly clean it up. i have much paper work to go with this car. i even have a copy of the first issued title when it left the factory to go to cox dodge in nc. the car has a completly redone interior from legendary. the dash was just redone and a factory am/fm radio was installed. the car sports its original 3.23 gears but now has a new sure grip. the front has been changed over to manual disc brakes and the rear is upgraded to slightly larger 2 1/2 drums. all large bolt pattern so you will not have to undergo that expense. the suspension was redone front to back and new .089 big block torsion bars installed w/ kyb shocks. the car drives and handles great. the original thermoquad was sent off and professionally rebuilt and runs great. the exhaust was redone and now is 2 1/2 in mandrel bent tti exhaust. the floors are all original and rock solid the trunk and quarters are all original and rock solid, this car has no bondo or rust. vin is stamped on rad support as well as trunk lip. numbers matching engine and transmission to boot! engine was rebuilt in 1982 at 55,000 to 60,000miles. sorry i do not know the exact milage here as the orner that did the work and painted it is no longer living. i have won many cars shows with this car over the years, and taken home best in show, best in class, top mopar, ect...i have about 3 minillia envelpoes of reciepts for this car. i just finished restoring the grill for it this year. it has new tires that have about 15 miles on them. it currently has the beauty rings off but i have 3 of them. i lost one on a trip in july and havent gotten around to replaceing it. the radiator is original and has been professionally recored with larger tubes and more rows added. it cools great! build sheet and fender tag are there as well! the bad: needs new carpet as this is very old. drivers side cylinder head seeps out when hot. it has done this for some time and never caused a problem. i have never gotten around to fixing it. also needs wiper arm pivot seals, other than that that is about it....really
