1965 Plymouth Belvedere II383 Big Block 4 Speed Transmission I am selling a 1965 Belvedere, I have only owned the car for a couple months but bought another car, and wife rules are only one wife, and only one car...I don't understand this rule I let her have 2 kids...LoL!! Heres what I know or have learned in the last couple months, I bought it from a older gentleman and he didnt have a whole lot of info for me and what he did tell me wasn t quite right...He said it was a 440 it is not, I found the numbers and its a 383. It was originally a 318 automatic. The gentleman wasn t clear on when the engine was changed out, who did it or if it was worked over, he did say it came from a 68 plymouth I dont know how to confirm or deny that. What I do know is it runs good, shifts good, drives good...will put you back in your seat...very fun to drive!! The interior has been redone and is not original it has bucket seats, newer headliner but needs the trim installed around it (trim included), door panels need some attention, and glove box needs latch, the best way to describe it is if your looking for a fun ride the interior is good enough, if your looking for a show car I would think its going to need some work. Glass is all good, Frame is good, Wheels are good, Tires are ok to drive. I have posted pics of the car when I first bought it and some showing some body work done...I have made some minor rust repair on the driver side of the car it still needs some fine tuning and sanding but will paint up nice. The passenger side has had some of the rust repair started but still needs some attention the front quarter behind the wheel is the worst spot other rust is a little worse than surface but def repairable. On all rust repairs after rust was removed it was also treated with rust incapsulator before filler was applied. About the mileage, it reads one thousand something, it only goes to 99,000 the mileage I posted above is the mileage on the title I dont think it is the mileage on the car but the true mileage is unknown to me.
