1965 VW Beetle for sale. Great condition! This was a father/son restoration project that took 5 years. There is much sentimental value to it but I cannot store it anymore because I have moved. This car is a definite head turner when it is crusing down the street! In 2003 it won 3rd place at the "MOFOCO Bug-Fest" at Great Lakes Dragaway. -New 1600cc engine block -All new wiring throughout car (converted to 12 volt) -New brakes (lines, springs, pads, etc.) -New torsion bar suspension -New Dodge Viper Blue paint, GM White stripes, clear coat (as of 2002) -New tires -Megaphone exhaust -Window tint -CB radio with whip antenna -Neon Blue underlighting This car was stored every winter since being restored and rust free on the body. Things to be Noted also: -Pioneer CD Player does not work (can be easily replaced and upgraded), CB radio and antenna are not connected (I do have a cable for them though), Right headlight is burnt out and needs to be replaced, interior seats are worn some and actual milage is unknown.
