It is a great candidate for full restoration, or just drive it like it is! This is a good running 1966' standard 11 window bus. It is a walk-through, and includes the front seats. Here are the highlights: Good: -Pretty dry Colorado bus -Original color: Sea Blue, Cumulus White. Original paint seems to be underneath all the layers of house paint! -Clean title -Solid floors (one small patchable hole in drivers floor, and one in cargo area) -Strong running 40hp dual port- will do 60-65mph no problem, but could us a tune-up. -Brakes are excellent, electric all works (all lights, blinkers, etc). -All doors open and shut fine and have all their handles. -All glass intact- nothing broken or cracked -6 popout windows (5 work, one needs minor hinge work) Not so good: --Interior needs finishing (No rear or middle seats, needs interior panels/headliner. Also the seats frames are in good shape but it needs pads and covers. -Paint is housepaint brushed on. I took some "easy off" to the paint to see if I could get down to original paint- looks like there are several layers- but the blue did eventually come through! -Bondo evidence in rockers, rear corner, and lower nose - Small hole in driver's floor- easy patch, 1 hole in cargo- easy patch -Spare tire area/luggage area hack- with some tin riveted over it. Also small cut hole to engine compartment (see pics). Both are fairly simple patches to fix. -Underneath has home-made insulation and belly pans- I haven't disturbed them- as they aren't rusty.
