2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 One officer take-home car. One of the most unique factory paint jobs featuring Richard Petty Blue and Performance White. Vehicle was used by the Centerville (OH) Police Department. (Picture of what it would have looked like in-service) I've driven this car over 500 miles while getting it ready to re-sell and it feels like a very solid car with strong performance. Clean car. Vehicle was a K-9 car and has rear tinted windows. I disassembled the interior, removed and cleaned the vinyl floor, and cleaned the seats. The headliner was cleaned. Removable dash panels were removed and cleaned. The rear package tray was removed and cleaned. New rear seat. Rear door panels missing handle and window control panel, but the windows are still functional from the driver's control panel. Driver side rear seat belt buckle missing. Scratches, chips, and dents from it's previous life, mostly on trunk lid and rear doors. Plugged hole in roof from lightbar wiring, two antenna mounts on roof, two antenna mounts on truck. Hood has had spot painting performed. Front seat upholstery is in good condition. Spotlight is uninstalled, but was functional when removed and will be included. Mechanical: Engine feels strong with good acceleration and no known mechanical problems. Braking is good with no unusual noises or vibrations. Transmission shifts good with no known problems. Transmission fluid was red when I acquired the vehicle and it still is (it's supposed to be red). A/C blows cold. Oil changed 500 miles ago. Have never observed any leaks underneath, even after the car sat parked for several days. The police department had it on regular maintenance and it shows. Options: Cruise control, front side airbags, locking gas cap, heated mirrors, power driver seat. I was told by the police department that the car is equipped with an alarm, but I can't get the key fob to work and have not looked into diagnosing it. Quirks: The A/C blows good, but vents will sometimes switch between blowing air through the front vents and then through the defrost/floor vents, all on it's own. The A/C and air temperature does not seem to be affected by this, it's just the vents will occasionally switch where they blow while driving down the road. PAYMENT Deposit of $500 must be paid within 24 hours of auction close. Your vehicle will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by my local bank. Buyer has 7 days from auction close to pay full amount.Vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of auction close. (Paint code W8002 seen on door sticker is Ford's designation for a custom paint job, actual paint code for Richard Petty Blue is C37D).I replaced the front passenger side turn light after the pictures were taken. The original was cracked.
