Vehicle Detail
1965 Volkswagen Notchback S Sedan Selling my 65 Notchback S driver that get lots of attention everywhere it goes. It needs some TLC that I can’t give anymore. I think at some point the Notch was had visions of being a drag car. Put your own personal vision into it. Suspension – Lowered front and back. Front adjustable 4” narrowed beam. Body – Good straight body no major damage. Started doing some sanding but just don’t have the time. Louvered truck. Pan – Not original. Fairly new fiberglass pan solid and functional. Engine – 1641 dual port type 1. Comes with a Bugpack single exhaust muffler and stinger. The sheet metal around engine compartment has been cut. Transmission - Tranny syncros going bad (some grinding into 2nd gear) but still very drivable. Goes great down the freeway 65mph+. Brakes – Front disc brakes and rear drums. Electrical –Full 12 volt conversion with new 12 volt battery. Headlights, brake & tails lights, blinkers, speedo, gas gauge and wiper motor work. Interior – No headliner or carpet. Front Scat Procar seats have been welded to original seat rails. Original seat rails still in good condition and original low back seats can go back on rails. Complete rear bench seat with folding down arm rest. Tires - New front 135s Nan Kang tires in front and 165s in the rear. Newly freshly painted smoothies with beauty ring rims. Notchback has current CA registration (expires June 2013 and comes with clean title (CA pink slip) in my name. Car is sold "as is" and also advertised locally so I reserve the right to end auction at any time. I bank with Wells Fargo for payment. Direct deposit or Cashier checks works best. NO PAYPAL, sorry.
