It is an original 1975 model with no modifications or title adjustments. The car is registered and fully drivable in California with a clear title. More importantly, it is exempt from smog emissions testing requirements because of the model year. (Models after 1975 require smog testing in California, which for a classic mini is difficult.) Here are some details, feel free to ask for more info:All original as was in 1975 British Heritage certificate showing the date of manufacture Clear California title, currently registered and drivable, smog exempt 60,235 original miles (96,939 KM on the odometer) New tires New brake pads with front disc brakes and rear drums New battery and safety fuse New wiring with modern fuses Clean interior, seats, and headliner Seats are black vinyl, carpet is black, and the headliner is white Original dashboard padding with no cracks or tears Left-hand drive (Steering wheel on the left, US-spec) Front seat belts Original 1098cc engine with no leaks or smoke Smooth revving engine has even power and good compression Original larger sized fuel tank 4-speed manual transmission with smooth shifts and no grinding The speedometer recently began to fail on occasion. No major rust on the body or the frame, including the underside. Small amount of surface rust underneath the battery and behind the right rear wheel. The car is currently fully registered and drivable in California and exempt from smog testing; your state may have different requirements. The winning bidder is responsible for the registration and licensing of the vehicle in their area. Bidding on a vehicle is a legally binding agreement. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions may warrant legal action. I reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early should the vehicle no longer be available. In the event of a failure to comply with the terms of this auction, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle for sale. Payment Terms: Please submit a nonrefundable deposit of $1,000 within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Please pay the remaining due balance within 4 business days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before title transfer and delivery. Payment Methods: The deposit may be made using PayPal, but the entire purchase price may not be paid this way. I accept the remaining balance in the form of a US official bank check (and/or cash if picking up the vehicle in person). Pickup or Transportation: Delivery costs and arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will help as much as I can and deliver the vehicle to a reasonably close, reputable shipper and make sure the Mini gets on its way to you safely. I have cared for this car well and will do my best so that you may enjoy it soon.
