It was a special-order car that has been in the same family since new. It was built at the Kansas City plant and sold in Denver, but spent most of its life in Arizona. Body and interior is all original except for the seats, which were nicely reupholstered with cloth in the original style. The original dashpad and headliner are beautiful. It has perfect floors & torque boxes. Trunk pan is still shiny green. Only the bottom of left rear quarter shows some tiny pin spots of rust starting. The paint has scratches but still looks great from 10 feet away. It has very nice original stainless. Odometer shows 02560, and has gone over at least once. The car has new front suspension components and brakes, and a newer clutch. The engine has been rebuilt. The only mechanical modifications the car has received, if you can call it that, are an early Mallory ignition, after market 4 barrel aluminum intake & Edelbrock carburetor, competition cam and a complete dual exhaust with Flowmasters. The car is not a real GT, and the GT wheels, gas cap and grill emblem have been added.
