This is a real 1968 gto that i am selling. it has a late 1967 400c.i. engine that was rebuilt and dyno-tested at 410 hp., the original turbo 400 trans that I had rebuilt last year, all Mallory ignition. It also has 3:55 posi-rear end 10- bolt. I have owned it since 1995, and the previous owner bought it in 1974. It has been basically garaged since 1974 .The car needs the interior re-done and shocks. With a little time and effort this car can be at shows. It starts and runs (never driven the car far from home). It has mini-torque starter new, disc- brakes, new tires 15'' on rallye rims, spoiler, new back bumper, his/hers shifter, hood tach, 2-3/4 stainless custom exhaust all brazed., all new bushings in the front end.. It was painted in 2006. Floor pans and trunk are in excellent condition. What the car needs is basically all the interior re- upholstered, I have all the original seats, and door panels, radio. The car need the following re-upholstered : Dash pad, seats, headliner, door panels, rocker panel moldings, I have new wheel well moldings.. Mostly cosmetics andI have some spare parts that will go with the car to the highest bidder. I am selling it because I have no place to store it anymore this winter.
