NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Up for sale is an affordable 2003 Toyota Prius! Have you always wanted to own a Hybrid but couldn't because of the price tag? Than this one is for you! I'm the second owner of this car and the previous owner put on a lot of miles from driving from Wisconsin to Minneapolis! They are all highway miles so the battery wasn't drained and charged a lot so the Main Battery is in good shape! I run a business where I Buy, Repair, and Sell Priuses. This one needed a little engine work when I bought it so I replaced 2 coil packs and did some minor maintenance to it. The car runs Great! The transmission is perfect (no noises or stuttering), the main battery stays charged as it should, and the Inverter/Converter System also functions properly. The car has some normal wear and tear with something with this high of miles should. There is some rock chips on the hood and bumper and some small nicks above the windshield. The windshield has a crack that is about a foot long but doesn't need to be replaced if you don't want to. The drivers side rear door is a little rusty and so is underneath the door (body work was done back in 2006 and the paint in those spots must have not been as quality as the factory paint job). I'm guessing a few hundred dollars will fix the rust issues on that door and under it. The only things not perfect about the car mechanically are that the amber engine light is on with code P1436 which means that the HCAC Variable Bypass Valve on the exhaust is stuck open. If you would like you can try to lube it up and get the engine light to go away for awhile but eventually it will come back. This DOES NOT affect the driveability of the car! Also the idler pully makes a tiny bit of noise but is still fine so that can wait awhile until it is replaced. This car has Cruise Control, CD Player, Side Air Bags, and Daytime Running Lights. The rear tires are new and the fronts are getting down there on tread life and the previous owner did all her recommended maintenance at Toyota in St. Paul. I'm an honest guy and will work with you after the sale if you have any questions or need help if the car should ever have problems down the road. Feel free to ask any questions you may have or to come test drive the car prior to bidding. Have Clear Title in hand ready to go! Thanks for Looking!!
