Up for sale is my 2000 BMW 540i w/sport package. I am currently in the process of buying a house and one of the toys has to go! I purchased the car in February of 2011 and it has been great. Since I am deployed, the wife has been driving it to work. Miles will be greater than shown. Below is a list of items, repairs, and deficiencies that I know about the car. With a little TLC she will be in great shape. Body is in excellent condition with a new application of Black Base Coat/Clear Coat and new M5 style FRONT BUMPER. Was in the process of putting her back together before I departed. Some parts still need to be installed such as the fog lamps. Feel free to ask any questions through the email address listed below. !!!!!!!!!!!!! As of 7 August, the rear bumper is being uninstalled due to heat damage. Old bumper will be installed. It is freshly painted but has to minor cracks at each corner. The bumper that is being reinstalled is the one that is in the pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!The following is a list (To my knowledge) of everything I have done and know about the car!!! Upgrades and repairs: · LED Halo headlights· Smoked taillights· Smoked side lights· Tinted windows· New brakes and rotors up front (approx. 2500 miles)· New brakes and rotors in rear (approx. 6000 miles)· New base-coat/clear-coat paint. (approx. $1600. Receipt on hand)· New front and rear M5 style bumpers· BSW iPod and Sirius Satellite radio adapters (Controlled through stock deck)· M5 gauge cluster that reads approx. 4000 miles greater than actual vehicle mileage· Rear/left control arm replaced· K&N air filter· New cup holders in rear· New cup holders in front (Modified)· Upper and lower timing chains were replaced along with all seals on timing chain cover and valve covers. (Approx. $2400) Receipt on hand· Ambient Air temperature sensor replaced· Front wheel well liners replaced· Front right fender replaced· Front tires replaced (approx. 3000 miles on them)· 40 Series Flowmaster exhaust. Provides nice rumble with low interior resonance. Cons:· Car has been in two collisions. One from a deer in front left corner (Previous owner) and the other with a wire fence on right side of vehicle. Cosmetic damage to right side, none mechanical.· Rims have curb rash. Was going to replace but decided to sell the car instead..· Front fog lights need to be installed. · Due to M5 Dash, Traction control is permanently disabled. This car runs, drives and is mechanically sound from my knowledge. Feel free to inspect or test drive it before sale. It handles great and has plenty of power.
