Hi what we have here is a 1994 Subaru SVX AWD 3.3L 4 cam 230hp. I bought the car with the intention of fixing it us as the svx is one of my dream cars but i am now unable to due to loss of my job and a family to support. The car does need work. It runs and drives but the transmission dosnt shift from first to second till 4000 rpm or so and does not seem to shift out of second gear. I did pull a transmission code it was code 11 which is duty solenoid a. I was told by a few mechanics that specialize in svx's and they said that it could be the throttle position sensoheck a trans filter change and flush may take care of it,and the bands in this transmission are adjustable. The engine starts up every time it taps a little we checked it for codes because the check engine light is on and we pulled a code for knock sensor-a. Other than that the engine does seem to run great and starts up great every time. I have driven the car quite a few times and it does have great power and is FAST even with the transmission problems.I drive it to the store and back almost every day as i live in a small town im never going far. It does do ok driving at 50mph or slower i dont want to push it any further due to the trans. The car does NOT have any rust there are a few small dents and dings here and there but overall body is quite nice one of the reasons why i bought the car. Someone sprayed the car black with spray cans it looks like,was origionaly a maroon dark red color. There are a few that dont work like power locks but nothing bad or hard to fix. the interior has some rips n seats n stuff but all shown in pics. May even consider trading. I'd like to have a 2.3l 5speed Ford Ranger but will consider all offers...
