Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1969 Mustang Mach 1. I bought this car to restore but have decided to let it go. The person I bought this from told me the car was originally from Nevada and he bought it back in the mid eighties. He drove it a while and decided to have the engine re-built. He put it in his garage and took the engine and transmission out to have them re-built. While the engine and trans were away he decided to strip the car and have it painted. The last date on the car tag is May of 1991. According to him when the engine and transmission came back he put them in the car but never fired anything up. He had the paint stripped and had aquired several new parts for the car. I bought the car in Aug of '08 and it had never moved from his garage in all that time. I had it shipped enclosed since the paint is gone and have had it in my shop for nearly 4 years. There were 4 large crates full of parts. Several of the parts are Ford brand replacement parts. The interior is in very good condition. The only tear in any seat is one side of the drivers seat and the rest are in good condition. There is a fold down rear seat. Someone added Pioneer speakers to the two armrest/rear fiberglass pieces to either side of the rear seat passengers. Most of everything is there to complete the car. There is new carpeting, emblems, stripes trim pieces etc.. Like I said there are four large crates full of parts. The things I've noticed are missing are the radiator & power steering pump. There are extra doors (2), front valance (2), as well as extra trim pieces, windows and assorted items through the car. He gave me everything he had at the time and that was quite a bit. I have a Marti Report for this car. The report shows this was originally a Black Jade color with Black interior. It shows it was a 351 4V (M code) and had the blackout hood treatment. The Marti report also shows an FMX Cruise-O-Matic Transmission with a 3.25 rear axle ratio. The report shows the fold down rear seat, power steering, power disc front disc brakes, AM radio etc... This is an extremely clean car since it was originally from Nevada. There were two holes in the trunk area where it looks like someone punched holes in the metal. I don't know what this was for but it was not rust and I took photos to show these areas clearly. they are about 1/2" to 3/4" holes.. One on either side. I have never attempted to start the engine since I've owned the car. It is basically the same as the day it was off loaded from the shipper. Please contact me if you need additional photos or have any questions. I have the car for sale locally and if it sells I will end this auction early..On Jul-30-12 at 11:03:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added some additional photos here.. http://s1131.photobucket.com/albums/m545/sperryfish/On Jul-31-12 at 17:14:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I received an inquiry about the car keys and whether the engine would turn over. I was able to turn the engine over easily with a torque wrench on the harmonic balancer bolt. As for keys.. I don't have them. There is a chance they are in one of the 4 crates of parts but I am not sure. I went through a couple of the crates and did not see them. I did pull the original doors out and they appear to be in great condition. They have the glass and handles/locks etc.. There is also another set of door glass with the car. While looking through some of the crates for keys I found a box with the headliner, new door handles, door rubber, what look like chrome trim rings for the headlights, original rocker covers, engine decal/sticker set and more.
