1981 FERRARI 308 GTSI Built for North America import. Sold March 5th 1982 from Newport, CA Ferrari dealership. VIN# ZFFAA02AB0035621 (the ebay vin drop down wont take out of country vin numbers, I don't know why they don't fix this problem) She runs and drives great, fun car on a summer day to cruise. The car is on the third owner. The current owner bought her in 1988 from a friend, he drove it some, then things happened and she sat in the corner of a wearhouse for at least the last 6 years, with little attention. She got dusty and a few cobwebs, but no damage and gas was removed so it didn't go bad. The car is not perfect, it is a great driver, not a museum piece! HIGHLIGHTS V8 Mid Engine DOHC 5 Speed Manual Trans Top Speed 147 mph, 16 sec 1/4 mile Original Price 52k Tubular Steel Chassis Vented Disk brakes all around Rack and Pinion steering Removable Targa top Leather seats The whole interior was replaced with Ferrari factory components in 1988, reciepe shows a cost of $3100. Also at 41k miles, the 2nd owner had the entire drivetrain refreshed and service done. Trans was refreshed with a new clutch pack. Engine was removed, new valve guides and much more was done, reciepe shows cost was over 10k. Original manuals and tool kit are included. There are some small cosmetic issues, nothing bad though, the worst is a 3" chip on the back right corner, see picture. Right front blinker lens is rock cracked A few road chips on nose hood area, 10-ish Drivers seatbelt cover missing, but new in the box one included 1 rim has chips in the center cap area, see picture, spare is clean though Needs new tires, weather cracked from sitting And she needs a real good cleaning/detailing. Again she runs and drives great, still looks great, everything works, including the headlights, they snap up fast. No leaks, belts and hoses are great. You could drive the car anyplace and look good doing it!
