1956 Ford Mainline - 312 Thunderbird V8 Up for auction is a 1956 Ford Mainline, which had been in my family since it was purchased new in Torrance, California. The original inline-6 was replace with a rebuilt 312 Thunderbird V8. The engine runs and sounds great and has about 250 miles since the rebuild. This will make a great project car for someone to restore. We have all the original parts, except for the original steering wheel. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The passenger side fender does have some damage and can be viewed in the photos. The buyer is responsible for transporting the car after purchase.
