I'm selling my 1974 Renault Estafette that I brought from France. I brought this Renault about a year ago from the southern part of France. I have really enjoyed driving it around town, going to get building materials for home, grocery shopping, carrying my bikes around, etc. This Renault Estafette is very versatile; it is very similar to a VW Bus but this one has the engine in the front and it is water cooled. There is not much for the interior which is actually in very good shape. The dash is crack free, the passenger seat is good while the driver has a cover on the bottom cushion due to being torn, both of them are firm, the engine cover is in good shape, all the lights are working properly. This Estafette seems to have been restored before. However there are a few places were some rust is showing. The rear section is all open which is great to load things in. I was going to eventually put a removable bench seat and add a headliner but did not get around doing so. The Estafette has a 1.1liter engine with a 4 Speed transmission. She is not super fast but it is great for around town. Many of these Estafettes where and are still work horses in France. She runs and drives very well. The engine and transmission were rebuilt in France a few years ago. There are no issues with driving this awesome car. The car is currently registered in California and has a Californian title. The car comes with a rebuildable spare engine and transmission.
