The AutoCheck Report is also perfectly clean. However, Carfax claims in error that this car was reported stolen and then quickly recovered a couple of months ago. This car has never been stolen and I have confirmed that by having a local detective friend check both the state and national databases for any record of a theft history and there is absolutely none.I acquired this car from a local Credit Union who repossessed it recently, and our best guess is that the previous owner had briefly reported it as stolen when it was repossessed from them because they didnt realize who had taken it from their driveway. Thats the only explanation I can come up with. Carfax has offered to ammend their history report and withdraw the record of theft history completely, but this process takes up to 30 days and I need to move this unit. Carfax does still show this car to be "Carfax Certified" even with the erroneous theft notation, so this theft history is obviously just a glitch in their system. Powered by a 5.3L 300 HP V8 engine and backed by an automatic transmission with All Wheel Drive, this SUV is a joy to drive. There arent any leaks or strange noises. The engine runs perfect and the transmission shifts perfect. As far as I can tell, this car has no issues whatsoever. The body of this car is very clean and there isnt any rust or corrosion on the body, undercarriage or anywhere else. All of the paint and body panels all appear to be factory original. There are a few scuffs and scratches, and Ive included close-up pictures of every imperfection in this listing. Overall, this car presents well and looks good. Moving to the interior, I think youll be impressed here. All the carpet, leather, and other upholstery look great with no tears or stains. I also do not see any evidence of any pets every being in the car. It is extremely clean and also has not ever been smoked in. The interior does not have any strange smells. Everything looks great and works perfect. I have put quite a few miles on this car myself and it has performed flawlessly. I would not be afraid to hop in it today and drive it anywhere.
