My loss is your gain. Just what you have been looking for in a winter project. The car is from British Columbia and failed the Alberta Out of Province Inspection. The inspection was completed by a local British car specialist. It needs new transmission mounts, front shocks and the floor pans and castle rails replacing. Shocks and tranny mounts are quite easy to replace but you will need access to welding equipment for the pans and rails. He said $1200 to $1500 to do the work. But he cannot work on it till fall /winter. It is well worth spending the money on it, but I am leaving the country in 6 weeks. So it has to go! I have a ton of receipts and documentation for completed work including: * Rebuilt engine * Rebuilt starter motor * Rebuilt altemator * Rebuilt carbs and tuned * New battery * New radiator and cooling hoses * New stainless steel exhaust * New handbrake cable * New clutch slave and master cylinders * New brake pads, shoes and slave cylinders * New tires Work been done on the interior including, dash capping, new door panels and new carpets. Overall it is quite serviceable. I am more than happy to assist with shipping or you can drive it home on an "In Transit" permit.
